Crosswell Baptist Church is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention. We are a strong Bible teaching and Bible preaching church. Family is very important at Crosswell. Our services are a blend of traditional and contemporary. We have a very active children's ministry, youth ministry, and senior adult ministry. There is also a very vibrant AWANA program for chldren, ages three through sixth grade.
Our mission is to reach people for Jesus Christ; mature them in their relationship with the Lord; and provide a nurturing environment of growth for all ages.
Our Staff
Charles Owens, Pastor
Charles is a graduate of the University of South Alabama and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He has been at Crosswell since April of 2004. Charles is married to Cindy Hough Owens, who teaches at Willow Drive Elementary School in Sumter.
Cameron Wilson, Children's Minister
Cameron is a graduate of University of South Carolina and is currently working on his Master of Christian Ministry at North Greenville University. Cameron has been at Crosswell since December of 2007.
Nathan Timmons, Youth Minister
Nathan began attending Crosswell as a youth and met his wife while he was an active participant in the youth group. God called Nathan to be our youth minister in March of 2009.
Frankie Hudson, Music Leader
Frankie is a native of Sumter. This is Frankie's second time serving as the music leader of the church. Frankie is also a member of the gospel quartet, "Last Generation".
