NEW SUNDAY MORNING SERMON SERIES
 
Pastor Charles will continue preaching through the book of
Colossians during the month of October.  Pray that God will
continue to convict and change hearts as the Holy Spirit re-
veals God's truth to us each Sunday.  Don't miss this powerful
sermon series.

BIBLE STUDY "GOD'S NOT DEAD"
  
The movie will be shown Sunday, September 7, from 6-8 p.m.
in the sanctuary.  It will be followed by a six week Bible Study
for adults (Sundays at 6:00) and youth (Wednesdays at 6:30),
based on issues expressed in the movie.

NEW WEDNESDAY NIGHT STUDY
 
For the next ten weeks we will be looking at the relevance of the
Ten Commandments for today's world.  Do they matter or not?

DEACON ELECTION
 
The church will hold a deacon election on Sunday, October 12 during
the morning worship service.  All men who are active members for at
least one year are being placed on the ballot.  If you do not want to
be on the ballot, call the church office.  Please pray for the men God
wants to serve as deacons.

ANNUAL SANTEE ASSOCIATION MEETING
 
The Santee Baptist Association Meeting will be held at Shaw Heights
Baptist Church on Tuesday, October 14.  Registration is at 1:00 pm
and the meeting begins at 1:30 pm.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
 
Shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child will be available on
Sunday, October 19.

SENIOR ADULT MINISTRY
 
The Keenagers will meet Tuesday, October 14 at 11:00 am in the
Fellowship Hall.  Police Chief Russell Roark and Jim Allsbrook will
be our special guests.  Please bring a covered dish to share.

YOUTH MINISTRY
 
Wednesday Nights 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
This night is high intensity with games, fun, and object
lessons that help our Bible Study topics sink in on a visual level.
 
Sunday Mornings 9:30 - 10:15 a.m.
During this time, our students dive straight into Scripture
and grasp a better understanding of their meanings and truths.
 
Sunday Mornings 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.
Worship Service
 
Sunday Nights 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.
This night is filled with a Worshipful atmosphere.  Youth Praise Band,
in-depth studies of Scripture, and open discussions are a part of this
service.  These studies are geared to be more heartfelt and devotional.

We have fun together playing games and studying God's Word!
