NEW WEDNESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY
 
All adults are invited to join our Wednesday Bible Study at 6:30 p.m. 
We are beginning a new study in Romans.  This study will give us a better
understanding of God's grace and power.  We will be meeting in the
Frady Building starting Wednesday, September 2nd.

NEW SUNDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY
 
Everyone is invited to join our new Sunday Night Study on the Book of
Revelation beginning Sunday, September 13th.  We will take our time
going through the book as we unlock the mysteries of the End Times.
We will meet 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. each Sunday.  Bring your favorite Bible
and join the study.

STATE MISSIONS WEEK OF PRAYER

September 13th - 20th is the Week of Prayer for State Missions. 
Janie Chapman envelopes will be available in the pew racks for
your offering.  This offering goes entirely to support the mission
efforts in South Carolina.

SHAW APPRECIATION DAY

Crosswell has been asked to provide cookies for the annual "Shaw
Appreciation Day" on September 25th.  Cookies need to be delivered
to  the Sumter Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, September 24th,
9:00 a.m. - 12:00 Noon.  These individual servings (2-5 cookies per
serving depending on size) need to be placed in small plastic snack
bags and closed.  Sumter Volunteers is in charge of this special project.

MONTHLY FOOD DRIVE
 
Our monthly food drive will be Sunday, September 27th.  Please
bring non-perishable food items for United Ministries in Sumter.
Canned meats are always in demand.

SENIOR ADULT MINISTRY

Keenagers will meet Tuesday, September 8th at 11:00 a.m. in the
Fellowship Hall.  Patty Patterson, former Sumter Police Chief, will
be our guest speaker.  She will present a program of interest re-
garding Sumter and sing.  Please bring a covered dish to share.


Coming up...

SENIOR ADULT CHRISTMAS OUTING

All senior adults are invited to join in a day of fun on December 1, 2015.
The group will be going to Newberry Opera House for the OZARK JUBILEE
Christmas Show.  This production is straight from Branson and looks to be
very entertaining.  On the way, we will enjoy lunch at a great country
buffet restaurant in West Columbia.  There will be time between lunch
and the show to browse through the shops of Newberry.  The cost of the
trip is $35, which includes the show, lunch, and transportation.  A $20
deposit is due by September 27th, with the balance due by November 1st.
We will leave the church at 10:00 a.m. and return around 7:00 p.m.

YOUTH MINISTRY
 
Wednesday Nights 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
This night is high intensity with games, fun, and object
lessons that help our Bible Study topics sink in on a visual level.
 
Sunday Mornings 9:30 - 10:15 a.m.
During this time, our students dive straight into Scripture
and grasp a better understanding of their meanings and truths.
 
Sunday Mornings 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.
Worship Service
 
Sunday Nights 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.
This night is filled with a Worshipful atmosphere.  Youth Praise Band,
in-depth studies of Scripture, and open discussions are a part of this
service.  These studies are geared to be more heartfelt and devotional.
